Our garments are pre-shrunk during the mineral wash process. Following the care instructions (cold wash, tumble dry low) will prevent any further shrinkage. Avoid high heat.

Yes. All Blank Theory garments are cut to a unisex oversized pattern. They fit well across all body types at the same size.

Yes. Our box tees are deliberately wide in the chest and shoulder. This is the oversized boxy silhouette — the drop shoulder sits 2–3 inches below the natural shoulder line. This is intentional, not a sizing error.

Each garment is individually mineral washed. This process creates intentional tonal variation that is unique to each piece — no two garments are exactly identical. This is a characteristic of the technique and considered a feature, not a defect. Minor batch differences can occur due to variations in fabric, dye, and processing.

• Machine wash cold (30°C), inside out, gentle cycle
• Do not bleach
• Tumble dry low, or hang to dry
• Iron at low temperature — never directly on the fabric
• Do not dry clean

Our Acid Washed Box Tees are made from 230gsm heavyweight 100% carded cotton. The fabric is pre-washed and mineral treated for a permanently lived-in finish.

Our Mineral Waffle Shorts use a 340gsm heavyweight 70% cotton / 30% polyester blend. The polyester content maintains the waffle knit structure wash after wash. Snow washed for depth and character.

Each garment is made to order and dispatched within 2–5 business days. After dispatch: UK 5–8 days, EU 7–10 days, US & Canada 8–12 days, rest of world 10–14 days. All shipping is free worldwide.

Yes. You will receive a dispatch confirmation email with a tracking link once your order leaves our fulfilment studio.

Because each item is made to order, cancellations or changes must be requested within 24 hours of placing the order. After production begins, we are unable to make amendments. Email orders@blanktheory.london immediately if you need to change anything.

Orders dispatched from the UK may be subject to local import duties depending on your country. These charges are the responsibility of the customer. EU customers may see a small customs charge post-Brexit.

As each item is made specifically to order, we are unable to accept returns for sizing or change of mind. We strongly recommend checking our size guide before placing your order.

Contact us at support@blanktheory.london within 7 days of receiving your order with photos of the issue and your order number. We will send a replacement or issue a full refund — whichever you prefer.

Once approved, refunds are processed within 3–5 business days. The time it takes to appear on your statement depends on your bank.
